Terms of Service

Welcome ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Use of the Service

The Service is provided for general informational and creative purposes. Any output, calculation, or generated text is provided for convenience only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for verifying any result before acting on it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) violate any law or regulation, (b) infringe the rights of others, (c) attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, or (d) misrepresent outputs as authoritative or factual where they are not.

Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and editorial content are owned by the operator. Generic placeholder text and numerical results are free to use without attribution.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service and how we handle it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

  • Usage data: aggregated analytics such as pages viewed and approximate region, used only to understand performance.
  • Technical data: browser type, device type, and referrer, logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
  • Advertising data: if advertising cookies are accepted, our advertising partners (e.g. Google AdSense) may collect data to personalise ads. See the Cookie Policy below.

The Service is designed to be used without an account. Inputs you enter and any output generated stay in your browser and are not transmitted to us.

Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies including analytics and advertising.
  • Legitimate interests — for essential operation, security, and fraud prevention.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the Service to make a new choice. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

Data retention

Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained for up to 26 months. Server logs are typically retained for up to 30 days. Advertising partners apply their own retention policies.

International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used to protect your information.

Contact

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact the operator using the address listed on the site.

Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure usage, and — with your consent — deliver advertising.

Categories of cookies we may use

  • Strictly necessary: required for the Service to work, including remembering your cookie choice. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics: help us understand how the Service is used, in aggregate. Set only with your consent.
  • Advertising: set by partners such as Google AdSense to show relevant ads and measure their performance. Set only with your consent.

Managing your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser and revisiting the Service. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies via their settings.

Third-party cookies

Where third-party services (for example, advertising or analytics) set cookies, they act as independent data controllers. Please refer to their policies for details on how they process your data.
